About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious IT Support Specialist to join our Helpdesk Team, working from our Eccles office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills or those who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the point of contact between the business and end-users, logging all incidents and service requests, providing updates on tickets, and resetting passwords. You will also be responsible for setting up new devices for our client base, both Windows and Mac, and managing your time efficiently to plan your day accordingly.

About You

We are looking for someone with a proven history of troubleshooting and resolving issues, technical or outside IT. You should have a good all-round knowledge of IT principles and be able to demonstrate your skills in Windows OOB and BIOS. Experience with PSA/RMM tools such as Autotask, AEM, and IT Glue is advantageous, as is experience in initial remote diagnostics and analysis.

You should be friendly and professional, with good written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to clearly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical clients and be keen to research new products and information around technical solutions. You should also be disciplined, with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.
