About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious IT Support Specialist to join our Helpdesk Team, working from our Eccles office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills or take their first step in IT, passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Point of contact between the business and end-user
  • Logging all incidents and service requests
  • Providing updates on tickets
  • Creation of tickets
  • Resetting passwords
  • Setting up new devices for our client base, both Windows and Mac
  • Completion of laptop pre-builds and post-builds
  • Managing your time efficiently and planning your day accordingly
About You

We are looking for someone with a proven history of troubleshooting and resolving issues, technical or outside IT. You should have a good all-round knowledge of IT principles, with experience in initial remote diagnostics, analysis, and monitoring. Knowledge of Windows OOB, BIOS, and PSA/RMM tools such as Autotask, AEM, and IT Glue would be beneficial.

You should be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn new software and hardware skills, with a keen interest in developing your understanding of new technologies. You should also be able to clearly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical clients.
