About the Role

Parkside Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Business Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Service Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Child Protection Conferences and Reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conference Coordination: Arrange and coordinate multi-agency Child Protection Conferences, ensuring timely communication and critical updates to all stakeholders.
  • Minute Taking: Take accurate and detailed minutes of complex multi-agency meetings, capturing key discussions and decisions.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of Child Protection Plans and Children Looked After, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain good relationships with external and internal partners, including local authorities, schools, and other agencies.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Independent Reviewing Service and Child Protection Service, including data collection, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Project Management: Manage own workload and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and quality of output.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in office administration, customer service, and data management.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of data protection, data security, and confidentiality, as well as good customer service principles.
  • Education: Educated to GCSE (grades A-C) or equivalent level with a good level of numeracy and literacy.
