DoLS Referral Officer

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a dedicated and experienced DoLS Referral Officer to join our growing team. This full-time, hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the improvement and development of our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) service.
As a DoLS Referral Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals are protected and their rights are upheld. You will work closely with colleagues within the team to provide comprehensive support and guidance on all aspects of the DoLS process.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely information regarding DoLS procedures to individuals, families, and professionals.
- Process referrals for DoLS assessments and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to DoLS cases.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth operation of the DoLS service.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of DoLS policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
- Experience in providing information and advice to the public or customers.
