Job Description

Job Title: Financial Services Specialist

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to client sites)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our team at KHR - Recruitment Specialists. As a Financial Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial advice and services to our clients in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial training to finance staff on relevant software (PS Financials)
  • Provide absence cover for Senior Finance Officer/Manager staff when required
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Assist with client budgets and forecasts
  • Assist clients and auditors with financial statements and year-end audit
  • Advise clients on best practices based on the Academies Financial Handbook

Requirements:

  • Accountancy qualification (ACA or ACCA Qualified preferred)
  • Experience working in the education or charity sector
  • Knowledge of PS Financials/IRIS Financials software desirable
  • Dedicated to delivering the best possible service to clients
  • Professional and presentable
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to speak to individuals of all levels
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to pass a clean enhanced DBS check (initiated and funded by the business)
