The Cashier position plays a vital role in supporting the Finance Team Leader. This individual will be responsible for accurately recording and managing all financial receipts of the organization, conducting credit assessments on clients, and establishing as well as maintaining customer accounts.

The Cashier will enhance the precision of financial ledgers in a timely manner by collaborating closely with the accounts receivable team, fostering a strong dynamic within the processing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all cash transactions are correctly allocated to the appropriate customer accounts and invoices.
Address account inquiries promptly and effectively.
Maintain the organization of customer accounts.
Process customer refunds accurately and in a timely manner.
Evaluate new credit applications and review customer credit histories with our resources.
Activate new customer accounts as needed.
Reconcile the sales ledger regularly.
Assist in the integration of sales invoices from various systems into a unified format.
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

ABOUT YOU

Strong organizational and planning abilities, capable of meeting strict deadlines while ensuring high quality and accuracy in work.
Experience in transaction processing and improving reporting systems.
Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable in accounts system administration.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Keen attention to detail.
Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
