Company Overview: Catfoss Recruitment Ltd is collaborating with a renowned global R&D organization seeking to enhance their team with a Project Management Specialist on a permanent basis.


Role Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Project Management Specialist to oversee the effective execution of business enhancement and infrastructure development initiatives within the Engineering Division, working closely with technical project leaders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume complete responsibility for project management tasks from initial requirements gathering and business case development to project completion.
  • Direct cross-functional project teams towards successful project delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders, ensuring that all project deliverables meet established standards within the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Facilitate the creation of project justifications and business cases, collaborating with technical managers on aspects such as estimation, risk assessment, planning, and presentation of proposals to project sponsors and senior management.
  • Oversee the project change management process to effectively handle modifications to requirements, timelines, and associated costs, while preventing scope creep.
  • Efficiently manage resources allocated to the project to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Assist in maintaining effective cash flow management in collaboration with procurement and finance teams, ensuring favorable subcontract payment terms when possible.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management, identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions.
  • Adhere to safety and professional standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, health, safety, environmental regulations, quality standards, and security policies.

Candidate Profile:

  • A university degree or equivalent in a STEM-related field (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).
  • A project management certification or demonstrable experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proven track record in project leadership, with effective communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory framework governing infrastructure project delivery is advantageous.
  • Ability to capture and manage project requirements, develop a work breakdown structure, project plan, and resource estimates.
  • Experience in preparing project justifications and supporting documentation, including pricing estimates and risk registers.
  • A confident, self-driven individual with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work outside of standard hours as needed.
