About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our team at Ocado Logistics. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making, developing insightful reports, and presenting data in visually engaging ways to empower teams with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reporting systems to deliver actionable insights that help drive business decisions.
  • Identify and understand key business drivers, create performance reports, and present data in visually accessible and insightful formats to enable better decision-making.
  • Analyse data sets to identify areas for improvement, offer data-driven recommendations, and collaborate with the wider team to implement and execute these strategies.
  • Track results, report on outcomes, and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the accuracy, availability, and usability of data, ensuring that data sets and reports are reliable and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in problem analysis, identifying root causes, assessing impacts, and driving effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy and precision in data analysis, reducing errors and improving reporting quality.
  • Exposure to SQL or other programming languages, along with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present analysis clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams or liaising between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an analyst, handling large datasets and performing technical analysis.
  • Experience in developing and using data visualisation tools.
  • Background in a logistics environment.
