About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Logistics Analytics team in a hybrid role, working two days per week at our head office in Hatfield. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, enhancing decision-making processes, and ensuring seamless operations within the Analytics and Optimization team and Ocado Logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain and logistics functions.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimise inventory management, procurement, and distribution processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, insights, and requirements for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Generate accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline operations, and drive efficiency, while monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of logistics operations and propose actionable strategies for improvement.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a passion for leveraging data to make informed decisions. At least 3 years of experience in an Analyst role, particularly with Big Data experience, is required. Strong command of analytical SQL is essential, with Excel, VBA, or similar skills desirable. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively are also essential.
