Job Overview

Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable Construction Consultancy in Tewkesbury. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for working on a range of sectors, including Housing, Healthcare, Education, Commercial & Industrial, Retail, Leisure, and Interiors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and using cost data derived from plans and drawings
  • Project timeline and program management
  • Undertaking feasibility work and producing estimates, budgets, and cost plans
  • Value engineering, comparative design studies, and cost-in-use studies
  • Preparing and interpreting turnover and cash flow projections
  • Providing cost control during pre-contract and advising on different forms of contract and procurement routes

Requirements

  • Prior experience working as a QS (contractor or consultancy side)
  • Residential project knowledge is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of JCT Contracts
  • Full UK driving license
  • Relevant Quantity Surveying Degree or similar (not essential if qualified via experience)
