About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Coach to join our team at Solent Mind. As a Wellbeing Coach, you will work with young people aged 11-25, providing individualized support to help them improve their mental wellbeing and build resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver 1-1 sessions to support young people in achieving their mental health goals
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote mental wellbeing and resilience
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for young people
  • Provide education and training to young people, families, and communities on mental health and wellbeing

About You:

  • Strong understanding of mental health in young people, including key challenges and difficulties
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs, with a focus on building resilience and promoting wellbeing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups
  • Strong understanding of the recovery journey and the importance of empowerment and self-management
