Rehability UK is dedicated to assisting adults with complex needs, including but not limited to Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health issues, to lead fulfilling lives. We continuously strive to deliver friendly, professional, and inspiring services that we would wish to receive ourselves.

We are currently seeking to expand our team for one of our services. This facility is a two-story building that supports five remarkable individuals with diverse and complex needs. Each person we support has unique requirements, with personal care being essential for most. Staff often assist clients in accessing the community or attending various appointments. When clients engage with the community, they participate in activities such as day centers, social events, bowling, rock climbing, trampolining, horse riding, long walks, art clubs, and more. During mealtimes, support varies from prompting clients to prepare their meals to cooking for them. Additionally, staff may need to assist individuals displaying challenging behaviors.

THE ROLE

This position entails working 24 hours a week, consisting of two overnight shifts.

The role is fulfilling as you will have the opportunity to support extraordinary individuals in living their lives with autonomy and respect, helping them achieve their personal goals and fostering independence along the way.

Each day presents new experiences.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks both at home and in the community. This may involve helping residents prepare for their day, accompanying them to activities, assisting with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.

This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate strong and positive relationships with amazing adults, professionals, and their families, aiding each individual in gaining further independence and confidence throughout their adult lives. You will engage in enjoyable activities such as long walks, outdoor educational excursions, and hands-on interactive tasks.

The role involves supporting adults in developing essential skills and ensuring their happiness and well-being.

Weekend and evening work will be required.

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
