Rehability UK is dedicated to assisting adults with complex needs, including Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Health issues, to lead fulfilling lives. We are committed to providing friendly, professional, and inspiring services that we would want for ourselves.

We are currently seeking staff for one of our services. This facility is a two-storey building that supports five remarkable individuals with diverse and complex needs. Each person we support has unique requirements, and personal care is essential for most of them. During the day, our staff help clients engage with the community and attend appointments. When clients can access the community, they participate in various activities such as day centres, disco nights, bowling, rock climbing, trampolining, horse riding, long walks, art clubs, and more. During mealtimes, support varies from prompting clients to prepare their meals to cooking for them. Additionally, staff may need to assist individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours.

THE ROLE

This position involves 24 hours of work per week, consisting of two overnight shifts.

This role is fulfilling as you will have the opportunity to support wonderful individuals in living their lives with dignity and choice, helping them achieve their personal goals and promoting independence.

No two days are alike in this role.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks both at home and in the community. This may involve helping residents prepare for their day, taking them to activities, assisting with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.

This is an excellent opportunity to build strong, positive relationships with incredible adults, professionals, and their families, aiding each individual in gaining further independence and confidence throughout their adult lives. You will engage in enjoyable activities such as long walks, outdoor educational trips, and hands-on practical experiences.

The job requires supporting adults in developing essential skills and maintaining happiness in their lives.

Weekend and evening work will be necessary.
