Your Responsibilities

As the Financial Control Manager, you will oversee your team's performance and daily operations, implementing performance metrics to foster a culture of data integrity and quality. You will establish control frameworks and governance structures aligned with our strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with operational models and process architecture principles.

Your role will include executing product control activities and ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks within reporting cycles. You will also review month-end outputs for all product-related activities across the organization.

Additionally, you will:

  • Engage in strategic initiatives actively.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure comprehensive substantiation and reconciliation of balance sheets and profit and loss accounts within a controlled framework, while understanding key business drivers.
  • Establish and manage internal controls, developing the control framework and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, regularly assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of business controls.
  • Implement robust analytical procedures over balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
Required Skills

We seek an individual with substantial experience in a financial services environment or similar medium to large corporations. You should have a proven track record in leading, motivating, and directing a small to medium-sized team, with an emphasis on global collaboration.

We also value experience in core financial control delivery and reporting outputs, including ledger closure, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting, and external audits.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification and proficiency in accounting principles.
  • Commercial insight and experience in implementing business processes and procedural changes in complex environments.
  • The capability to execute the operating model and strategic transformations.
  • Experience in leveraging key financial technologies, such as Oracle and its modules, along with associated reporting tools like Tableau or Python.
  • A demonstrated ability to cultivate a positive team culture and generate multiple pathways to achieve team objectives.
