Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance controls, ensuring the overall control environment, customer outcomes, and reduction in operational risk.
  • Work within established frameworks and procedures, interpreting them to solve a range of problems.
  • Meet the required standard for the governance framework for oversight of third-party suppliers, ensuring they deliver in accordance with defined service level agreements.
  • Analyze emerging trends and issues.
  • Develop the oversight framework and continual process improvement.
  • Ensure all controls and procedures are documented up to date.
Requirements
  • Technical experience of the pricing and workings of Investment Funds and alternative assets.
  • Experience of different asset types and valuation methodologies.
  • Previous experience within an accounting oversight function within Financial Services.
  • Experience in setting up new processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to learn through practical application.
  • Accountant by qualification or experience.
