Business Area: Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks – Major Projects
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our Major Projects team, focusing on significant construction and civil engineering undertakings.

Due to the sensitive nature of the site, candidates must undergo thorough security checks, which may take several weeks to complete. Only applicants with EU & NATO member passports will be considered.

Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Assuming full commercial oversight for intricate subcontract packages throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing subcontractor relationships, including payment processing and resolving disputes through negotiation.
  • Preparing comprehensive monthly cost/value reports and collaborating with project teams to analyze results and trends.
  • Optimizing cash flow by ensuring timely payments and applications for payment in line with contract conditions.
  • Overseeing change management and risk processes, while supporting the project commercial team with necessary contract notifications.
  • Contributing to the creation of monthly and quarterly reports, providing insights on financial and contractual performance to management.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for individuals who:

  • Hold a degree or possess equivalent experience in a similar capacity.
  • Have a solid understanding of ECC NEC4 contracts.
  • Exhibit strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
