Care Support Specialist

Care Support Specialists play a crucial role in delivering assistance to the Therapeutic Treatment Programme, ensuring a secure and nurturing atmosphere is upheld. The primary responsibility is to provide support and care by encouraging open and collaborative discussions that aid Service Users in exploring alternative strategies to address substance use challenges.
Key Requirements:
- Grade C GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a supportive role, particularly with adults facing Mental Health challenges.
- Proficiency in maintaining electronic documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
- Must be registered or willing to register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council
- Commitment to uphold the values of the Presbyterian Church In Ireland and the principles of Carlisle House, including respect, acceptance, and compassion
