The Newt in Somerset is seeking a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. We are dedicated to crafting extraordinary dishes using the abundant offerings of our Estate, drawing inspiration from the changing seasons and cultivating a deep connection with the land.

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in upholding The Newt's exacting standards while providing guidance and encouragement to junior team members. Your responsibilities will include:

Your Role:
  • Taking ownership of your designated kitchen section.
  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences through captivating dishes.
  • Maintaining rigorous food safety standards and adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating effectively with other team members to create a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Mentoring and developing junior chefs, fostering their growth and skill development.
