About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Team Leader to join our team at IKEA Hammersmith. As a Food Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team and ensuring every order is quick, delicious, and up to standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Food and Beverage Assistants to deliver exceptional customer service and food quality.
  • Ensure the food area is clean, attractive, and inviting, and that products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.
  • Be passionate about the food we serve and sell, and actively learn about it and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and coach others in ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed in all daily work.

  • Competitive starting salary of £28,411.
  • 39 Hours, working 5 days per week and alternate weekends.

Requirements
  • Prior food, customer service, and leadership experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment and lead by example.
  • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
