Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at IKEA Hammersmith. As a Food Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, ensuring every order is quick, delicious, and up to standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Food and Beverage Assistants to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy, sustainable, and joyful food experience for customers and colleagues.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean, attractive, and inviting food area, ensuring products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.
  • Coach and support team members to develop their skills and knowledge, promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring routines and requirements are known and followed.

  • A competitive starting salary of £28,411.
  • 39 hours per week, working 5 days per week and alternate weekends.

Requirements
  • Prior food, customer service, and leadership experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment and lead by example.
  • Self-reliance and motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to remain focused under pressure.
