Product Development Manager

Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking an experienced Product Development professional to lead the development, product approvals, and marketing of fire products in the UK and Europe, with additional support for the Middle East and Africa (MEA). This role requires close collaboration with the Offerings Manager to promote a global fire product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative fire products and solutions that meet customer needs and comply with fire product legislation.
- Manage product approvals and oversee quality and performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering on fire product matters, including technical queries and product development meetings.
- Support Sales teams in the UK and EMEA with product information and administrative tasks, including reviewing and managing fire sales order entries.
- Assess training needs for team members and conduct necessary training sessions to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
- HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive technical knowledge of fire pumps and related products.
- Experience in both practical and office-based roles within the building services sector.
- Proven track record of managing deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
