Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement all facets of project and contract management within substantial budgets, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Manage project and contract risks, maintaining comprehensive risk registers, cost trackers, and relevant documentation, while executing the risk management plan effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status, ensuring accurate information is available for decision-making and governance.
  • Facilitate communication and engagement to foster positive relationships with local politicians, community councils, stakeholders, statutory bodies, and contractors to support project execution.
  • Play a pivotal role in the Council's procurement policies, overseeing the tendering and commissioning processes for new build consultancy and contracts.
  • Conduct financial and design viability assessments, optimizing access to grant funding while ensuring compliance with statutory design and regulatory standards, and maintaining financial sustainability of projects.
