About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Advisor to join our team at Citizens Advice. As a key member of our Money Advice team, you will play a vital role in providing expert guidance to clients on managing their finances and overcoming debt.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with clients in a non-judgmental manner. You will also have a good understanding of the current benefits system and welfare reform, as well as experience in money advice or a related field.

This is a hybrid role, with some work able to be completed from home. You will be based in our Chesterfield and Matlock offices, with occasional travel throughout Derbyshire.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,723 to £28,122 per annum, dependent on experience, and a comprehensive training program to support your development as a Financial Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to clients on managing their finances and overcoming debt
  • Assess clients' financial situations and develop personalized plans to improve their financial wellbeing
  • Work closely with clients to identify and address financial challenges
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the current benefits system and welfare reform
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of money advice services
