About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Octavius Infrastructure, a leading civil engineering organization delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage site activities on major highways schemes, ensuring work is completed safely, profitably, and in line with the programme.
  • Oversee the construction of road infrastructure and drainage systems, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, including the Project Manager and subcontractors, to deliver key projects for our valued clients.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
  • A proven track record of managing projects up to £10 million.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
  • SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
  • An industry-recognised qualification (Degree, HND, NVQ) in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
