Construction Site Manager

About the Role:
Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites, overseeing the management of labor, plant, and equipment, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the activities of site teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Oversee the management of labor, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal resource utilization and minimize costs.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and report on site performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage and control site budgets, ensuring that costs are minimized and value is maximized.
- Develop and implement site-specific quality plans to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
- Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience in construction site management, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, quality management, and project delivery. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
