About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the transformation agenda and providing high-quality clinical support to staff within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical support, supervision, and guidance to staff within the team
  • Develop evidence-based practice within the service and drive best practice and continuous improvement
  • Participate in developing and implementing local and national policy direction relevant to practice
  • Facilitate staff to undertake clinical audit and empower them to manage and support change
  • Demonstrate effective clinical leadership and relevant clinical expertise to support and facilitate clinical development and innovation

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a relevant Social Work, Nursing, or Allied Health Professional degree-level qualification or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience and excellent communication skills. A teaching qualification or significant experience is desirable.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to challenge current practices and freedom to make change in light of evidence-based recommendations. They will also have knowledge and experience of moving staff through the change management process and empowering them to manage and support change.
