Legal Secretary/Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide essential support to our clients' solicitors and be involved in a variety of tasks across different areas of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize excellent keyboard skills for document production, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage emails and electronic diaries through Outlook, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Operate the firm's Case Management system effectively, ensuring all documents and correspondence are stored correctly and easily accessible.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other contacts during the course of a matter, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Populate forms using the Oyez system as required by each department, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Undertake all electronic filing daily to keep files up to date, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Prioritize workload to manage time and tasks effectively, ensuring maximum output and accuracy.
- Adhere to the firm's procedures, including Accounts procedures, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Organize work and tasks efficiently to ensure maximum output and accuracy, working collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals.
- Assist the Managing Partner with sensitive matters, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Provide cover for reception as needed, ensuring a seamless and professional service to clients and colleagues.
- Legal secretarial and/or paralegal experience, with a focus on family law.
- Proficient in Word for document production using audio digital dictation, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with case management systems and electronic filing, with a strong understanding of the importance of organization and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to use Oyez forms system, with a strong understanding of the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively, with a focus on achieving maximum output and accuracy.
- Commitment to following firm procedures and maintaining confidentiality, with a strong understanding of the importance of discretion and professionalism.

- Full-time hours, 37.5 per week, generally between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm with one hour for lunch.
