Paralegal Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to support our client's Litigation Solicitor in a variety of tasks, including preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing a caseload of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Preparation: Prepare legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research to support cases.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties such as filing, handling phone calls, and maintaining and organising files.
  • Client Communication: Provide accurate quotes to clients and ensure clear communication regarding legal fees.
  • Interviews and Information Gathering: Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information.
  • Legal Information Provision: Offer legal information to clients under the supervision of the Litigation Solicitor.
  • Court Attendance: Attend court proceedings when required.
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring that each case is handled efficiently and with a high level of service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience working with private clients or currently completing SQE2 papers.
  • Research and Writing Skills: Strong research and writing skills.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of legal database software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional Standards: Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
