About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Professional to join our team at HC One. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and mentoring a team of Care Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement individualized care plans that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents
- Lead and mentor a team of Care Assistants to ensure high standards of care are maintained
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide comprehensive care and support
- Administer medication and provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships with residents and their families
Requirements
- Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise
