Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Data to lead our data function and drive the effective use of data across the organisation. This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping our data strategy, ensuring data integrity, and leveraging data insights to support business decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Strategy Development: Formulate and implement our data strategy, ensuring it aligns with our overall business objectives and enhances our ability to leverage data for strategic advantage.
  • Data Governance and Management: Oversee the management and governance of our data assets, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Data Analytics and Insights: Lead the development and utilisation of advanced data analytics and reporting tools to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration while supporting professional development and growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management and other departments to understand their data needs and ensure the delivery of solutions that drive business performance and efficiency.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in a senior data leadership role, ideally as Head of Data or similar, within a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong background in developing and implementing data strategies, with a focus on data governance, management, and analytics.
  • Experience in leading and managing a data team, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and drive performance.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a track record of using data to drive business insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of data regulations and compliance requirements, with experience ensuring data security and integrity in a complex organisation.
