The Opportunity

Bringing together legal, project management, process design and technology expertise, our Digital group supports businesses who need innovation from their legal advisors. Leveraging experience to map the intersections where people and tech deliver results, this team supports businesses undergoing their own digitisation projects and those who seek disentanglement from the manual and inefficient processes in the delivery of legal services.

Experienced at delivering large and complex legal services, we are experts in the delivery of data-intensive mandates. Imagining possibilities, HSF's Digital Legal Delivery practice is implementing the best technology solutions today, while horizon scanning and experimenting with emerging technologies to understand their practical applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Together with the Head of Data Analytics and Senior manager, be part of the design, development and ongoing evolution of dashboards and tracking of client metrics as part of client delivery
  • Supporting the head of data analytics and senior manager to build relationships with partners and CRMS in London, selling the data analytics offerings
  • Supporting matters that heavily focus on data analysis and reporting
  • Translating data into presentable content for matter insights reporting
  • Converting data into different formats to suit matter delivery (e.g. log file format conversion for data breach analytics)
  • Producing Legal Transformation dashboards for key stakeholders and ensuring they understand the functionality
  • Manipulating and presenting numerical data in formats that are easily understood by a broad range of stakeholders, providing concise narratives to back up the numbers

Requirements

  • Demonstrates analytical reasoning, interpretation and evaluation of complex information, with the ability to exercise judgment and resolve issues independently
  • A strategic, analytical mindset to solve complex problems by developing insights from data
  • Advanced technical experience building and maintaining tools and reports
  • Ability to design impactful slide decks and dashboards
  • Excellent storytelling skills to communicate insights to key stakeholders within the business
  • Advanced Excel, PowerBI, or similar
  • Foundational knowledge of data querying languages such as SQL
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Power Automate
  • Tertiary study in a related area (Data Science, Economics or Mathematics) beneficial
  • Advanced MS Office suite skills (ie Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work effectively within an agile, activity based environment
  • Ability to delegate tasks to junior team members (clear instructions with a quality control workflow in place)
