About the Job

We are seeking an experienced HR Documentation Manager to join our team and lead a team of 20 employees. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day functional operation of the team meets optimum productivity, quality standards, and client service level timeframes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide a team of HR Documentation Consultants to provide commercially focused, quality advice and documentation to clients.
  • Recognize gaps in knowledge and implement training and development programs to ensure team members are equipped to meet client needs.
  • Manage the team's workload and ensure all protocols and KPIs are met, with no outstanding work.
  • Take corrective action if KPIs are not met and ensure the team is on track to meet targets.
  • Quality check documentation to ensure compliance with employment law and reduce the risk of negligence claims.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss their requirements and create HR documentation or critique their own documentation to meet their needs.
  • Deal with client complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage a workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Attend team and management meetings to discuss progress and address any issues.
  • Record work completed using internal systems and procedures.
  • Build and maintain a cohesive and motivated team, promoting best practice at all times.
  • Recruit new team members as needed.
  • Conduct daily meetings with the team to discuss progress and address any issues.
  • Carry out one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss performance and provide feedback.
  • Communicate management instructions to the team in a clear and constructive manner.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly reports and address any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare a weekly report on issues, findings, suggestions, and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of HR practices and employment law.
  • Previous experience managing a team and communicating with external clients.
  • Professional approach and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to deliver group training and manage a team to achieve outstanding results.

What We Offer

  • Annual salary up to £40,000.
  • Monday to Friday, 9 - 5.30.
