Senior Administrative Coordinator
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Senior Administrative Coordinator to become a vital part of our esteemed School Team. This pivotal position within the educational institution requires the successful applicant to possess substantial experience in a dynamic office setting. Specifically, you will have a background in onboarding new employees, processing payroll data, overseeing and assessing budgets, and demonstrating proficiency in various IT systems. Comprehensive training on our specific systems will be provided.
Our institution is a Catholic primary school, situated centrally within the community. We take pride in our school environment and cherish the contributions we make to the local community. We operate a single-form entry from Reception through Year 6 and provide Nursery services for children aged three, including a 30-hour provision. The school is affiliated with the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust, where our administrative teams collaborate to foster networking and training opportunities.
Key responsibilities will encompass:
- Assisting in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the budget in close collaboration with the Trust Finance Manager
- Gathering data and information to generate reports and insights as necessary
- Managing the administration of Payroll systems
- Overseeing the administration of facilities, including the management of school premises, ensuring that access to the site and activities are properly regulated, monitored, and that health and safety protocols are adhered to under the guidance of the Head of Estates and Operations
- Providing administrative and organizational support to the Governing Body
- Drafting all HR documentation such as Employment contracts, Offer Letters, Variation letters, etc.
- Conducting recruitment administration and pre-employment verifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Exhibit professionalism when interacting with parents, staff, students, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrate high levels of motivation, diligence, and initiative
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be dedicated to collaborative teamwork
- Have experience in an office administrative environment
