About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm welcome to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our department.
- Manage designated clerical duties, including inputting data onto our Radiology information system and distributing reports.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Utilize various Radiology systems to ensure high-quality patient experience and care.
- Undertake administrative tasks as delegated, including preparing patient records and operating trust IT systems.
- Provide training and assistance to colleagues as needed to support the team.
- Arrange transport for patients as required and carry out general administration duties.
Person Specification
We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills, who is able to act diplomatically in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have good keyboard skills, be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships, and demonstrate effective written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
Requirements
- Good general education to include CSE or GCSE in English Language and Maths or equivalent/experience.
- Ability to satisfy Occupational Health screening.
- Adaptable and flexible according to the demands of the service.
