Job Summary

Coben Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our Nursing Home, delivering high-quality care and nursing services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in providing leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, therapeutic interventions, and individualized activity programs.
  • Lead and supervise the support and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of person-centered care.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues, and maintain good interpersonal and working relationships.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence in care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, and ensure that residents' needs are met.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting the elderly and working in a care home setting.
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • QCF Level 3 or above in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
