Deputy Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

A dynamic and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager is required to lead a care home in the Newtown, Wales area. The successful candidate will be working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering high-quality care to individuals with varying needs.

This care home offers a range of care plans in a warm and safe environment, tailored to the needs of each service user. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of person-centred care and be able to develop and implement individualised care packages.

The key responsibilities of the Deputy Care Home Manager include:

  • Developing and implementing evidence-based care plans, therapeutic interventions, and activity programmes;
  • Leading and supervising the support and nursing teams to deliver exceptional care;
  • Recognising and addressing areas of concern, such as sickness management, staff training, and coaching and mentoring;
  • Communicating effectively with service users, their families, and colleagues, with excellent interpersonal and working relationship skills;
  • Providing appropriate levels of care and support to meet personal hygiene needs;

The successful Deputy Care Home Manager will receive a competitive salary of £16.64 per hour and an annual salary of £31,150.08. This exciting opportunity offers a permanent full-time role working 36 hours a week, with a range of benefits, including:
