Working Hours: Days Only (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
  • Quickly identifying and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and basic control & instrumentation issues within your skill set.
  • Completing all assigned tasks to a high standard, ensuring maintenance across the installed asset base.
  • Exhibiting flexibility to support various teams and departments as needed.
  • Reporting any deviations from company policies, procedures, and standards, while assisting in corrective action initiatives.
  • Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators related to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in the production environment, equipment, and systems.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to personal development to reach excellent competency levels.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A completed Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship at Level 3 (City & Guilds / ONC / BTEC).
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • HACCP Level 2 certification.
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation.
  • IPAF or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with IEE wiring regulations (current edition).
  • Experience in environments adhering to established standards and key performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in data input and analysis.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
