Job Type: Contract, Full-Time - Outside IR35

Contract Duration: Ongoing, estimated to last 12 months

Location: Cheshire region

Salary: £58,320 per annum (allowing for 4 weeks holiday), £25.00 per hour LTD company rate (Umbrella also available)

Expenses: Fuel claimed back at 45 pence per mile

Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with variable start and finish times

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our client's team as a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting installation surveys on buses and coaches, completing necessary paperwork, and carrying out initial installations in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Travel to customers' sites to conduct installation surveys on buses and coaches.
  2. Complete all necessary installation survey paperwork.
  3. Carry out initial installations in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines, including making any required electrical connections.
  4. Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  5. Maintain a strong focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of auto electrics and electrical wiring on vehicles is required.
  2. Must have own transport (Van or Car) to travel to depots.
  3. Basic IT skills for inputting data into a system.
  4. Flexibility with start and finish times.
  5. Full UK Driving Licence.
