We are seeking a dedicated Lead Bat Ecologist to enhance our vibrant ecology team based in the Exeter office.

About You

  • Degree in Ecology or a related discipline;
  • Full Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) or equivalent;
  • Level 2 Bat Licence;
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience with a strong focus on client relations;
  • Thorough knowledge of survey methodologies, wildlife legislation, and species licensing;
  • Comprehensive understanding of the UK planning system concerning ecology and wildlife protection;
  • Experience in advising on Biodiversity Net Gain and producing relevant assessments;
  • Proficient in report writing and Microsoft Office; GIS knowledge is advantageous;
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
