Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales and Retention Specialist to contribute to our ongoing growth in the residential energy market. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base across Northern Ireland through diverse sales and retention initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer interaction, exceptional sales capabilities, and a desire to elevate their skills in a supportive environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with customers through both inbound and outbound communication channels to retain existing clients.
  • Identifying and acquiring new customers through proactive outreach.
  • Facilitating customer transitions between different service plans and locations.
  • Providing administrative support for sales activities.
  • Maintaining a strong conversion rate from calls to successful sales or retention outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal quality metrics and customer interaction standards.
  • Adhering to regulatory guidelines related to sales and marketing practices.
  • Effectively managing workload and demonstrating independent work ethic.
  • Setting realistic customer expectations in accordance with industry standards.
  • Following company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Promoting additional products and services through up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Flexibility to assist in various sales functions, including support for events and trade shows as needed.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will ideally have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the energy, telecommunications, or customer service industries. While experience in outbound sales is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. A motivated and ambitious individual who is eager to make a meaningful impact is essential. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, along with a solid understanding of digital sales strategies and social selling techniques, is required. Strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and effective negotiation abilities are critical for success in this position.
