Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales and Retention Specialist to enhance our residential customer outreach efforts. This role is essential in expanding our customer base through various sales and retention initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer interaction, coupled with strong sales capabilities and experience in customer engagement. We aim to elevate our sales strategies and deliver exceptional service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with customers through both inbound and outbound communication channels
  • Acquiring new clients while ensuring existing customers are retained
  • Facilitating customer transitions to new locations
  • Providing sales support and administrative assistance
  • Maintaining a robust conversion rate from calls to successful sales or retention
  • Meeting internal quality metrics related to customer interactions
  • Complying with regulatory standards in sales and marketing activities
  • Managing tasks independently and efficiently
  • Setting realistic customer expectations in accordance with best practices
  • Adhering to health and safety policies
  • Promoting additional products and services through up-selling and cross-selling
  • Supporting other sales functions, including participation in events and trade shows as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate should have 1-2 years of relevant experience in sectors such as energy, telecommunications, or customer service. Outbound phone experience is advantageous but not essential. We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, driven, and eager to make a meaningful contribution. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, is required, along with a solid understanding of digital sales and social selling techniques. Strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and effective negotiation skills are crucial for success in this position.
