Job Title: Risk Assessor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Risk Assessor to join our team at Environmental. As a Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for undertaking legionella risk assessments, risk assessment reviews, and surveys on a wide variety of water systems. You will ensure the accuracy of all risk assessment reports and their satisfactory completion and quality checking, prior to issue.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Legionella Risk assessments, reviews, and surveys in line with company procedures and method statements.
  • Ensure all survey forms and work records (electronic system based) are complete and accurate.
  • Assist with technical development of the risk assessment document.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded, and are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure all arrangements for visits with clients are made in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide full support to Service Manager, as and when required.
  • Any other reasonable tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication with good interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization, and with 3rd parties.
  • An ability to proactively identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to a resolution.
  • An ability to attain an accurate and consistent standard of service.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and positively as a team member.
  • Computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office package and bespoke software/databases.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • At least 1 year risk assessing experience.
  • City and Guilds Qualification.

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • A detailed working knowledge of the HSE's ACoP L8, HSG274, and HTM-04-01.
  • An excellent understanding of Water Regulations and hold an appropriate certificate.
  • Full Driving Licence.
