Join Our Team as a Risk Surveyor

STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD is a leading broker that continues to grow organically and via strategic new business wins. We are looking to expand our Risk Management Team with the addition of a home-based Risk Surveyor.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in ensuring our underwriting decisions are informed, accurate, and align with the latest industry standards. As a Risk Surveyor, you will conduct risk assessments for SME clients, typically property owners, manufacturers, and leisure businesses.

Our clients can be located anywhere across the UK, with a focus on the Midlands, South West, and South East regions. You will attend site, complete the survey, write a report including recommendations, improvements, and relevant photos, and send these details back to our Underwriters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments for SME clients
  • Attend site and complete surveys
  • Write reports including recommendations and improvements
  • Send reports back to Underwriters
Requirements

To be considered, you will have proven experience as a Risk Surveyor or in a similar risk assessment role on behalf of insurance underwriters. You should possess in-depth knowledge of risk management principles and insurance underwriting processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with clients and colleagues.

Industry qualifications in insurance or risk management are highly desirable but not essential. In return, you will benefit from experienced and supportive teams located throughout the UK.
