Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Growth Engineering and Project Execution teams in all aspects of subcontracting engineering services, focusing on specification and tendering, including Quality Assurance.
  • Coordinate external engineering demand planning to ensure that necessary framework contracts are established and that a qualified workforce is readily available.
  • Assist in the establishment of an informed buyer office (IBO), developing and delivering pilot concepts alongside key stakeholders.
  • Offer market insights to growth projects to facilitate informed decision-making regarding resource allocation and manage strategic suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Enhance collaboration with "informed buyers" within Growth Engineering, Project Execution, and Procurement, designing and implementing efficient processes.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies for external workforce and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of sustainable performance.
  • Actively promote a culture of safety and accountability within the team and department.

Your Profile

  • A degree in engineering, business administration, or economics.
  • Experience in contractor management or procurement of engineering services for national and international projects in the power generation or oil and gas sectors.
  • Desirable experience in project management, engineering processes, and asset operation and management.
  • Knowledge of technical contract management and risk assessment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to build and maintain effective partnerships.
  • A proven track record in driving process improvements and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages, such as German, is advantageous.
