Role Overview:

Littlefish is on the lookout for a Supplier Relations and Procurement Specialist to join our expanding Finance department and establish top-tier procurement practices from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in our operations.

As the Supplier Relations and Procurement Specialist, you will oversee the complete lifecycle management of third-party vendors providing products and services to Littlefish and our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer to identify gaps in our service delivery capabilities, both current and anticipated.
  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and partners who align with our values and standards, ensuring they meet the commercial criteria necessary for delivering exceptional services.
  • Select and negotiate with suppliers and partners.
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
  • Foster and maintain senior-level relationships with suppliers to ensure effective engagement and compliance with commercial terms.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on identifying capability gaps and selecting external products and services.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and issue contracts, purchase orders, and agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and performance metrics.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement and contracted suppliers.
  • Create contingency and business continuity plans to address potential supply chain disruptions affecting critical services.
  • Ensure robust reporting and data management to oversee supplier performance at both generic and specific account levels.
  • Lead supplier engagement initiatives focused on social value and ethical practices.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • Professional certification in procurement is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement or a related field.
  • Proven track record in vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate project scope and requirements into clear supplier deliverables reflected in contractual commitments.
