We are seeking a skilled professional for Ruby Magpie, a SaaS organization specializing in the B2B health technology sector. The role of Product Director is pivotal and offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional visits to the London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market demands.
  • Collaborate closely with the CTO to convert the product strategy into actionable initiatives, including roadmaps, feature prioritization, release timelines, and market entry strategies.
  • Lead and nurture the product management team, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration to inspire innovative solutions that provide a competitive edge.
  • Conduct thorough competitor assessments to pinpoint opportunities and risks, ensuring the product remains competitive and relevant over time.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and successful product development and launches, focusing on the entire process from ideation to market.
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends, competitor products, and customer requirements to discover new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings.
  • Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including executive leadership and customers, to keep them updated on product strategy, progress, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and sustain strategic partnerships that can enrich the product suite and deliver additional value to clients.
  • Assess broader industry trends and innovations, particularly in data utilization and AI applications, to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with essential customer stakeholders and senior decision-makers in the healthcare sector.
  • Ensure compliance of all products with applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product impact and inform data-driven decision-making.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 8 years in progressively responsible product management roles, demonstrating a successful track record in product launches and lifecycle management.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (development, operations, marketing, sales) to ensure cohesive product development and launches.
  • Proven ability to formulate product strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals, supported by best-in-class product management practices.
  • Expertise in the healthcare industry is highly desirable, with comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics, customer needs, and the vendor landscape.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a structured approach to developing and executing strategic product plans.
