Key Responsibilities

As a Citrix Engineer at Insight Global, you will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and supporting the Firm's large Citrix Desktop Services and Application Farms. Your expertise will be instrumental in migrating the team off their legacy Citrix platform to their new cloud platform.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Citrix Engineer in an enterprise organization operating at scale
  • Hands-on experience with VDI (Citrix, RDS), Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms (Windows 10/11 and Server 2016+), and Virtualization Platforms (VMWare ESX, RedHat OCP, MSFT HyperV)
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows OS internals and scripting technologies (PowerShell, VBS, SQL, Windows Batch)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enterprise-level experience with Citrix Cloud SaaS services
  • Experience with GPO, Windows Systems Management, and Patch management Technologies (MECM, Intune, Group Policy and WSUS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
About the Role

This is a 6-month ongoing contract located in London or Birmingham, with a requirement for onsite work 5 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial services industry and be able to communicate effectively with the team.
