Job Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Citrix Engineer to support a large financial institution in London or Birmingham.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the Firm's Citrix Desktop Services and Application Farms. With the team's focus on migrating to their new Citrix cloud platform, the successful candidate will play a key role in this migration.

This is a 6-month ongoing contract, working onsite 5 days a week, and will be classified as Inside IR35.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience as a Citrix Engineer in an enterprise organization with a large-scale environment
  • Expertise in engineering, managing, and supporting VDI (Citrix, RDS), and Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms (Windows 10/11 and Server 2016+)
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows OS internals
  • Experience with Virtualization Platforms (VMWare ESX, RedHat OCP, MSFT HyperV)
  • Extensive experience with scripting technologies: PowerShell, VBS, SQL, Windows Batch

Desirable skills include:

  • Enterprise-level experience with Citrix Cloud SaaS services
  • Experience with Group Policy and Windows Systems Management and Patch management Technologies (MECM, Intune, Group Policy and WSUS)
  • Enterprise-level Financial Services experience is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in automation, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis
