Job Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Citrix Engineer to support a large financial institution in London or Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the Firm's Citrix Desktop Services and Application Farms. With the team's focus on migrating to their new Citrix cloud platform, the chosen candidate will play a key role in this process.

This is a 6-month ongoing contract, working onsite 5 days a week, and will be classified as Inside IR35.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience as a Citrix Engineer in an enterprise environment
  • Expertise in VDI, Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms, and Virtualization Platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS internals and scripting technologies

Bonus skills include:

  • Enterprise-level experience with Citrix Cloud SaaS services
  • Experience with GPO, Windows Systems Management, and Patch management Technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preference will be given to candidates with enterprise-level financial services experience and a background in automation, anomaly detection, and predictive analysis.
