Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Citrix Engineer to join a large financial institution for a 6-month ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting the Firm's large Citrix Desktop Services and Application Farms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Citrix infrastructure solutions to meet the Firm's business needs
  • Maintain and support existing Citrix environments, including VDI, RDS, and Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms
  • Collaborate with the team to migrate the Firm's Citrix legacy platform to their new Citrix cloud platform
  • Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Citrix Engineer in an enterprise organization operating at scale
  • Experience with VDI, RDS, and Microsoft Desktop and Server platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS internals and virtualization platforms
  • Experience with scripting technologies such as PowerShell, VBS, SQL, and Windows Batch
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enterprise-level experience with Citrix Cloud SaaS services
  • Experience with GPO, Windows Systems Management, and Patch management Technologies
  • Enterprise-level Financial Services experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
